James is an associate at King Defence. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy at MacEwan University and Juris Doctor degree from Thompson Rivers University.

James practices exclusively in criminal defence. He worked at Sinclair Law Office for 5 years prior to joining the team at King Defence.  James has appeared at all levels of court. He has represented clients on appeals at the Court of Appeal of Alberta and the Supreme Court of Canada. James is a member of the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association.
